"This multi-level deck replaced an aging cedar deck. The Tropical Teak decking was installed with the CONCEALoc fasteners, including the stairs. There is not a single screw visible from the deck or stair surface. To avoid splicing the decking, we laid the decking on an angular pattern and added "zippers" (perpendicularly laid plank to eliminate end-to-end joints). It gives the space a clean finished look that also gives the impression of separate but flowing eating, cooking and gathering areas. "
